Gregori Klosman - Klosmania (Episode 3)

Hypster - Dirty Disco Nights (Original Mix)

The return of disco is way too good. Hypster is (I think) a relatively new Electronic artist who in the past has done much heavier songs, but this tune is a great change up. This type of electronic music is getting huge and when it is coupled with the awesome production skills of Hypster, a great piece of work ensues. Take a listen.

P.S. - Sorry for the weird extra run time at the end of this file. We are here to promote the music though.

Skylar Grey - Dance Without You (R3hab Remix)

R3hab is really blowing up lately - his remixes are fire. This one is no exception, from the amazing Sklyar Grey vocals to the unique but energized breakdowns, this song is really well done. Check it out.

Michael Woods - Bullet (Original Mix)

Michael Woods makes some great songs. This progressive house track has great build ups and breakdowns. It also really captures that epic feeling that is typical of big room house. Worth every second it takes to download.

Kanye West & Jay-Z - Watch The Throne (Documentary)

I know I'm a little late on this but I literally just watched this video 10 times in a row. It is incredible. August 8th can't come soon enough. Speechless.

Fadi - Ticket to the Sky (Original Mix)

Never heard of this guy. This is a solid progressive house track that has the Avicii/Marcus Maison & Will Dragen sound. If you are into that type of sound, this song will not disappoint. Plus it is dropped on Laidback Luke's label, so you gotta support it. Download it.

Late Nite Tuff Guy - I Get Deeper (Original Mix)

Unreleased track that I always hear live at Club Space in Miami when their resident, Dsan Powell spins. He's got one of my favorite styles--managed to find it in a 320 VBR online. I feel like these vocals perfectly depict my idea of true dance club culture.

Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (eSQUIRE Vs. OFFBeat Remix)

Photobucket

You know how I know your gay.. Because you listen to coldplay... For the birds

Sharam Jey Feat. Nik Valentino - The More That I Do (Remixes)

Here are some edits of Sharam Jey's fresh 80's jumpoff track. Marco V does his thing and creates another brilliant remix. The Whiteliner remix is pretty fresh as well, they are new to me so I will continue to follow them and keep you birds updated.

Dirty South & Thomas Gold Feat. Kate Elsworth - Alive (Original Mix)

Birdies you will dirty your own undies with this one, or change your religion if you believe in that kind of stuff.

Sidney Samson - Duplex (Original Mix)

Photobucket

Here is one of Sidney Samsons brand new tracks, no worries you can trust that this is a banger. Listen to this loud birdies.

Selda - Lift Your Hands Up (DJ PP Remix)

Photobucket

Apologies for my lack of posting for the past few weeks, I've been working pretty hard to finalize my EP for release on Beatport. It will be out in mid August and I'll definitely be posting it. Meanwhile, check out this absolute banger by one of my favorite producers in the tech house industry right now. DJ PP (aka Gabriel Rocha) is absolutely on fire this year with quality in each and every single release.

Calvin Harris - Feel So Close (TABS Bootleg Remix)

Legit remix from the Arizona based Unit known as TABS. These guys are completely underrated check them out on soundcloud they have a bunch of other remixes. They add slight edits to their remixes which is key to give that track the extra dirtyness it needs.

Goldfish - Soundtracks and Comebacks (Fedde Le Grand Remix)

I figured I would slow things up a bit with this dirty remix by Fedde Le Grand. For your health.

ASAP Rocky - Peso

So it's hot as fuck in the city today, and this song fits the mood perfectly. I've been following ASAP since I first downloaded Deep Purple, and I'm really into this movement he's got going. I first fell in love with this song when it was previewed in the Purple Swag video (Chopped & Screwed @ 1:29) that came out not too long ago, and now it finally sees the light of day. A really creative summery-chill-feelgood beat matched with Rocky's swagged out flow, swervin' perfectly like Promethazine and Sprite on the corner of 125th & Park. So grab some quarter waters, find a stoop in the shade, and let this shit breeze. #Flex.

Dallask - Crush (Original Mix)

Kid looks like a real bro.. Can't hate, he is 19 and is far more musically inclined than I shall ever be. Check out this dope Electronic song, worth the MBs.

Avicii - Fade Into Darkness (Official Vocal Edit)

So this vid is of the Wordsworth team catching Avicii live out east spinning Penguin's vocal rendition. This shit is official Wordsworth'S D is harder than a missile.

Dillon Francis & Cory Enemy - Ultra EP

If you ask me, "moombahton" is a huge sham. I understand what it's trying to be but it seems to fall short every time. That being said, I don't care what Dillon Francis wants to classify himself as. All of his shit is too dope, he can call it whatever he wants, I'll still be into it. This EP is dubstep, much different from the 108 BPM electro dance stuff he does, but still equally as ill none the less. Very creative, and very different. 3 tracks, one great EP. You'll have to listen to know what I'm talking about.

Download

Gregori Klosman & Promise Land - Endless (Original Mix)

Two anthem-like progressive house collaborations (more than two artists in the contrary) have come out today.... They are both good, but this one is more unique. Klosman Kills.

Moby - Lie Down in Darkness (Arno Cost Remix)

Moby remixes are always good, and but Arno Cost makes some amazing sounding tunes. Together it makes greatness. Listen and love it.

Drake - Marvin's Room (Shlohmo's Thru Tha Floor Remix)

If you haven't noticed, "Marvin's Room" is one of my favorite songs yet this year. This remix is very subtle, similar to the original with a heavy reverbed vibe to it and some additional melodic synths that fit quite well. Baby-making-music, must have.

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf (Original Mix)

Finally, the long awaited new single from Duck Sauce everyone has been buzzing about see's the light of day. It's not quite the nostalgic anthem "Barbara Streisand" was but it definitely bumps. The wolf howls and dark vocals add a really interesting vibe to this tune. I have a feeling I'll be hearing this song a lot in the future.

Madeon - Pop Culture (Live Mashup)

What did I tell you last week?
Madeon - the next big thing, 39 songs.

Avicii Ft. Yolanda Selini - Don't Give Up On Us (Enough is Enough)

Hey birds, this might be the HQ version... pretty darn close. You know the deal, if you haven't heard the previews of this song you have probably been under a rock. Even though it is upsetting that so many Avicii tracks come out, this is a BOMB. Download it.

P.S. - Enjoy Governors.

Marc De Siau - Forever Young (Club Extended Mix)

Here is a clean club extended mix of Bob Dylan's classic track Forever Young. Enjoy.

Laidback Luke - Natural Disaster (Instrumental Extended Mix)

Looks like Laidback Luke is returning to progressive after going to dirty dutch and electronic for some time. This man is unbelievably talented - especially as far as performing live goes. He might be the best spinner out there. Can anyone else really throw rap, rock, and nearly every genre of EDM in the same set? Doubtful. This song is indeed a progressive house track but it also has electronic roots in it. It is long and has great buildups. Wait for the mash-ups/vocal remixes of this one to take off. Enjoy.

Ferry Corsten - Check it Out (Original Extended Mix)

Does Ferry Corsten make bad songs? No. Download this song.

Airbeat One Project - Airbeat Army (Arena Mix)

This is basically a progressive house, Avicii-style song. It's good. Give it a listen.

Aly & Fila - We Control the Sunlight (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)

This is some sick serious trance right here. I mistakenly skipped over this one earlier in the week until I heard it played by van Buuren in ASOT. Alex M.O.R.P.H. is a favorite of Armin that produces amazing tracks and Aly & Fila are huge names within trance, making a great combination for this remix. The song is really upbeat and similar to the old school trance tunes you love. Smooth vocals as well. Check it out.

Dinka

I'll be damned, I guess the perfect woman does exist. Dinka is fucking incredible, these two cuts off of her 16 track Tales of the Sun CD are really smooth summer dance tunes that fit into any situation. AND she's sexy. It's a wrap.

Must Have: Yelle - Que Veux Tu (Madeon Remix)

This song is pretty old (5 months or so), but after the terrible selection today, I needed an escape.. That would be Madeon. This song has french vocals and the patented Madeon beat behind it - making it Mr. Wordsworth's type of song. Madeon is, in my opinion, the next big thing. He is only 17 years old and he already has unreal remixes of The Island and Raise Your Weapon under his belt to validate his skill (go listen if you do not believe). You have to keep and eye on this guy, he is going to bring French dance music back to the forefront - the feel-good, happy electronic beats in all of his remixes win over all listeners. Just listen and love it.

Marco V - Nuf-Z (Original Mix)

No lies, this was the only worthy song to come out today... DBM Groupe rarely posts "mash-ups" (at least by mash-up artists) and mainstream pop remixes so it is not always easy to find quality stuff. Anyway, saving the few good tech/minimal songs that came out today, Marco V released this progressive house jam amongst little competition. The build ups are great, the production is solid, and simply put, he always makes a good song (second song by him this week actually). Listen and download.

Robbie Rivera - Da Da Dance (Pink Fluid Remix)

Robbie Rivera and Pink Fluid both produce some good ish, but this song is amazing. If this does not make you want to dance, check your pulse.

Sesto Sento - Music Make U Feel (BRUK Remix)

Sesto Sento is pretty well known around the EDM scene but as far as BRUK is concerned, I have to be honest and I say I am not sure who he is.. This song has opened my eyes though.

This song is Daft Punk-esk. It sounds very similar to their stuff.. once it drops. Up until the drop however, the song is definitely unique to say the least. Yet once it drops, it is a funky masterpiece that is so feel good. Download it.

Dirty Vegas - Little White Doves (EC Twins & Remy Le Duc Remix)

Photobucket

The EC twins have been riding dirty in Europe's electronic dance scene for years. They finally sacked up and made the move to the U.S.

The Weeknd - What U Need (Flinch Remix)

AraabMuzik Live At Dim Mak Studios

Speechless. The MPC wizard returns with an amazing live dubstep performance at Dim Mak studios. Yes that's correct, a DUBSTEP performance... This dude never ceases to amaze me, just watch and let it all soak in.

The Game Feat. Justin Timberlake & Pharrell - Ain't No Doubt About It (Official Video)

This was one of my favorite songs when it came out about a year ago. Visuals just dropped, perfect cap to an amazing 4th of July weekend. And for the record, Pharrell still runs shit.

Sidney Samson vs. Tara McDonald - Dynamite (Nicky Romero Remix)

I know this song is kind of a bootleg, but it is not your average mash-up. A friend of mine showed me this song a few weeks ago and I would have to agree that this one is going to be huge. The lyrics are solid and the electronic feel of Nicky Romero is too dope. Winner.

Truelove - Let's Party (Original Mix)

Tried posting this song earlier, but for some reason it wasn't working. My apologies. Anyway, this funky track is worth a post of its own. A while back I posted their remix to Rock the Cashbah, which is still a favorite of mine, and this one does not disappoint. Check it out.

Afrojack - Bangduck (Moguai Remix)

This remix is too dope. It is an anthem, which does not appeal to everyone, but if this is your cup of tea I advise you indulge. Take a listen - it is sure to get people dancing at any venue.

Paul Oakenfold & Marco V - Groove Machine

This trance track is getting played on sets by the likes of Djs such as Ferry Corsten... that speaks volumes. Also, the artists themselves, Oakenfold and Marco V, always produce incredible stuff as well. The tune starts off slow, but the methodical pace builds up into a great drop and rhythm. It is called Groove Machine for a reason. My only issue with the song is that it is pretty short. Listen and download.

Avicii Previews 2 New Tracks at EDC 2011

So I unfortunately couldn't make it to EDC, but spent the last week catching up and listening to all of the sets. I was bummed I couldn't find a proper rip of Skrillex's set (I heard it was in-credible) but in my opinion, of all the sets I heard Avicii's had the most authentic feel. It was really consistent and well mixed, and full of incredible tunes, some old, some new. Below are 2 new Avicii tunes he previewed:

Avicii - Papa Was A Rollin Stone (Live Preview)

This mix sounds AMAZING. Those synthy vocals in the intro are so incredible. It reminds me a lot of the vocals from Kanye's "Workout Plan", with more of a solo, freestyle feel. If Marvin Gaye and Daft Punk somehow had a baby, that's exactly how it would sound.

Avicii - New ID (Live Preview)

This is an incredibly interesting song. The intro is deceiving, and at first seems somewhat off beat and awkwardly mesmerizing. Although, when the drums kick in it all seems to make sense, coming together to form an amazing mix of creative synths and stellar melodies.

Sander Van Dorn - Koko (Bingo Players Remix)

You know, I loved Koko... I also love Bingo Players. Together, it is unstoppable. One of the best mixes of progressive and electronic I have ever heard, especially if you are into either of those genres. Just download it.

Lil B - I'm Gay (Album)

If you don't know who Lil B is by now then your hopeless, and if you're one of the nay sayers who hates his music then we probably wouldn't get along. That being said, Lil B is amazing, and I have been a very supportive follower of his since The Pack's "Vans". He is one of the most passionate and driven artists I have ever encountered, and is trying to point out that it's just music, nothing more, nothing less. It's supposed to be fun and humorous, the days of Mozart and The Beatles are over, it's all about catchy club music and badass ad-libs these days. I consider him to be somewhat of a modern day Cam'ron, constantly joking around in his tracks and sporting an image similar to a flamboyant ghetto prince. Bottom line, Lil B is one of the funniest and most refreshing voices I have heard in a while, and if your not a part of the #Based movement yet, it's time you hopped on the train.

Not only did Lil B release this album entirely on his own under his label "BasedWorld", but also made it one of the first albums not to leak prior to it's release in the last decade. Not a single song saw the light of day until the album unexpectedly hit iTunes two nights ago. He could teach labels a thing or two. The greatest part about all of this is, a day after it's successful guerilla release on iTunes, Lil B posted the entire album for free on his facebook and twitter with the message: "CUZ I LOVE YOU IF YOU DONT HAVE 10 DOLLER TO BUY MY NEW PROJECT HERE IT GOES FOR FREE - Lil B!!!". HAAAAA, speechless.

The release of this album has already legitimized Lil B in the industry, and has received praise from many important artists. Lupe Fiasco called it "genius & revolutionary", and Jadakiss commended Lil B's passion and stated that "He created a good controversy". Lil B is not gay, but if your interested in the origin of the album title, read about it here.

Everything about Lil B and this album is really incredible if you have been following him and know the deal, but if your a first time listener chances are you will hear this out of context and hate it and spend the rest of the day wondering why I wrote this long blog post about some retard nicknamed "The BasedGod". But all of the real music lovers and fans will understand the greatness in this.

And lastly, BasedGod fucked my bitch.
